OUR STORY
In 1998, Pastor Alex started Oasis City Church, then Oasis Tabernacle Assembly of God. Our original group of ten loving, dedicated individuals grew to over 30 in attendance within a few months. In 2008, we moved from 5th and Rockland to our current location on 5th street.
For over 20 years, we’ve remained rooted in our endeavor to impact our community. We feed the hungry, clothe the naked and make disciples as Jesus directed us. We’re also committed to sharing the saving grace found in Jesus with all who will listen.

We are a church in North Philly, affiliated with the Assemblies of God (AOG) denomination. The AOG beliefs and fundamental truths can be found here.

Come casual or formal, whatever best “suits” you and your family! What matters to us is you experience the love of God in a welcoming community.
Parking and Entering
For Sunday morning worship service, please enter through the front doors on 5th street. If you come to our office for an appointment, ring the doorbell on Fisher Street for access.
COVID Protocols
Our team continues to take great care in regularly cleaning our facility. Face masks are optional.

Oasis City Church is an Assemblies of God church in Olney. We’re a Pentecostal denomination of the Protestant church, partnering with the AOG mission to evangelize the lost, worship God, disciple believers and show compassion. The AOG doctrines can be found here.

Amelia's Closet - a clothing and food pantry. Serving families in Olney and throughout Philadelphia. To open March 26th and every Thursday thereafter from 5pm-7pm.
Community Corner - May through September every 2nd and 4th Friday 5pm-6pm.
